ACADEMIC — WORKSHOP 'INVERTING THE WUNDERKAMMER' / by Veronica Ranner

The research project ‘Interverting the Wunderkammer, Thinking with Moss’ looks at rethinking the Digital Humanities through Botanice Histories and Archives. It has been initiated by Asst.Prof. Ahmed Ansari (New York University, Tandon. NYC, USA), Asst.Prof. Tega Brain (New York University, Tandon. NYC, USA) and Asst. Prof. Elena Myers (New York University, Gallatin, USA) in collaboration with the New York Botanical Gardens.

The online workshop on the topic of ‘scales’ brought together a multi-faceted group of researchers from differing displinary backgrounds, enabling a mulitiplicity of viewpoints and angles on the topic of moss and ‘mossy thinking’. The workshop participants are currently working towards a contribution to this project, further developing their thinking into this fascinating topic.
